Lista in Spanish means "ready"

 ...so, in essence, even if not in perfect Spanish, our goal here at Peninsulista is to help make you ready for your time on the Peninsula and help prepare you to love every minute of it. 

Peninsulista is also a nod to the author and founder behind Peninsulista - a self-proclaimed “Peninsulista” who was born here and has lived throughout this wonderful place most of her life - having called Millbrae, Hillsborough, San Carlos, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, and Sunnyvale home at various points.

...New to (or about to move to) the SF or Silicon Valley Peninsula and looking for information to help you settle in and make the Peninsula feel like home

...A long-time Peninsula resident - an established Peninsulista in your own right :-) - looking to keep things fresh or engage more in the community you love
